Sunday Poem
I would have loved to love you.
Filtering a billion genetic particles per minute,
moment by moment we are drawn nearer to each other.
Then a bluebird appeared, stout and rich with color.
The mockingbird, redtail hawk, and the dove, all have flown,
And the bolls have burst with the snowy fruit of early autumn.
